<\/a>Christ the King Books is a small, family-operated, Traditional Catholic publisher.\u00a0 Since 2014, we have been passionate about providing solid Traditional Catholic educational materials to homeschooling families, brick and mortar schools, and individuals\u00a0 interested in good reading.\u00a0\u00a0 Our Lord’s enemies are working furiously and around the clock to dethrone Him in the hearts of individuals as well as in society.\u00a0 Why should we not work just as hard to enthrone Him by spreading the soul-saving Catholic Faith and Church He founded?<\/p>\nThe inspiration for our business also came from the twenty-year experience of homeschooling our own five children, as well as from discussions with other Catholic parents.\u00a0 During those years, not only did we find a lack of Catholic materials, but some of those which were Catholic were problematic.\u00a0\u00a0 These problems ranged from serious content errors (e.g., soft-Catholicism, Americanism, liberalism, evolution, and false religious ecumenism)\u00a0 to the annoying (lacking clarity or being “dumbed-down”). \u00a0 We wondered why there were not friendly, yet firmly and unabashedly Catholic books available for adults and students.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Our wonder became a vision which we felt called to make a reality.\u00a0 We took the risk of finding, interviewing, and hiring qualified Catholic authors to write books.\u00a0 We began with what today have become our flagship products:\u00a0 Biology: A Traditional Catholic Perspective\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>and \u00a0 United States History:\u00a0 A Traditional Catholic Perspective<\/em>.\u00a0 These two books have received enthusiastic support.\u00a0 We have since developed over 300 products which include many of our own works (textbooks, student exercises, and answer keys), as well as reprints of classics.<\/p>\nWhile our specialty is the high school level, we are also expanding to the lower grades, as well as providing some out-of-print spiritual classics.\u00a0 Christ the King Books is a private, lay-run publisher, and is not affiliated with any diocese or religious order.\u00a0<\/p>\n
