This Catholic grammar book is suitable for grades eight through ten depending on the student’s previous knowledge. It begins with a beautiful and classical introduction to the subject of grammar (one of the seven traditional liberal arts), then moves through the parts of speech, followed by a treatment of phrases, clauses, and other sentence building-blocks. In each lesson, there is practice for punctuation and sentence diagramming – a critical art and exercise. The examples and exercises are unique since they are not the typical ones with a modern, non-Catholic spirit. We compiled this grammar series to avoid both modern books and even the older books (before the 1980s); all such had modern and immoral ideas in them.
