In this student-friendly, annotated and illustrated presentation of the Douay-Rheims translation of the Sacred text of Genesis, the student will study the creation of the universe and man, the Fall of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noe and the Flood, Abraham and God’s covenant, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Isaac, Jacob and Esau and their sons. It ends with the account of Joseph being sold by his brothers, eventually becoming the governor of Egypt under the Pharao. It is striking to see how many of these men are clearly symbols and figures of Our Lord Jesus.
